Healing drug reactions

I'll begin by stating the obvious. The best remedy for avoiding negative drug reactions is not to take them. Alas, we’re not all (and always) able to exercise that option for a variety of reasons.

My personal opinion is that our tolerance for pain and (necessary) suffering should be increased. In no way am I trying to sound uncompassionate, but I have seen too many conditions that could have subsided on their own if we had respected the body's natural healing cycle instead of suppressing the symptoms.

Many years ago, I remember treating a nurse and asking her “why are so many opiates prescribed? ” She replied “Natalie, PAIN has increased!" Has it? Or, have we just become so used to disconnecting from our body’s innate healing mechanism that we now see it as the enemy?

The more we numb our pain, the more we poison our bodies with substances (which are, in essence, toxic and harmful), the more we tell our bodies, “No, you cannot express yourself like this." Consequently, chronic degenerative diseases, sudden deaths, and/or autoimmune conditions are on the rise.

Nevertheless, certain conventional medications can be useful in certain situations. In teaching nature's principles so that we may understand under what conditions they are most useful, I'm not trying to eliminate them; I'm merely educating about many much safer alternatives.

In my work, I often help people heal from drug reactions and damage, as well as treat the "secondary diseases" they cause.

In the Dynamis Apprentice Heilkunst & Homeopathy Certificate Masterclass, I discuss the difference between curing and healing quite extensively since it is often misunderstood.

Inside the Dynamis Library, you will find my "Healing Rx Reactions Guide". This guide focuses on mending some of the side effects of painkillers, antibiotics, steroids, and other drugs commonly used in conventional medicine today.

During drug therapy, your body struggles to keep you healthy. This guide is intended to educate you on how to help your body through this process. It is not meant to imply that there will be no damage (or secondary diseases created); it is to provide some solutions to potentially minimize this and lessen your suffering.

Adverse reactions to medicines are Canada's 4th leading cause of death. There are hundreds of thousands of reported "severe" drug reactions each year in this country. If you're in healthcare, you know that for reactions to even be formally "reported", there must be a specific chain of events that takes place - one that, in fact, seldomly does. Based on what I have seen, I can only imagine what the numbers would tell us if we could easily log every time we experienced a "side effect", which is essentially an adverse reaction.

As I mentioned, drug therapy has its place (mainly in emergency situations and palliative care) but it is not “perfectly safe” as many practitioners may blindly proclaim. As much as it requires care and appreciation for its power, our natural bodies require the same respect and prefer natural remedies as well.

Also, I do understand that mental-emotional sufferance plays a role in being able to endure physical symptoms and plan to one day release a post to introduce mind-body techniques for pain management.
